Governance

Built to be accountable
from the start.

Before the first line of classification code was written, we established a governance framework that defines how every decision is made, how it can be challenged, and how it can be explained. Not because regulation required it. Because building something worth trusting required it.

How decisions are made

The decision has to be defensible.

An enquiry is information; selling intent requires evidence. Pulsero separates probabilistic language interpretation from deterministic classification. Given the same structured evidence and engine version, the decision follows the same rules. That does not make the interpretation infallible: ambiguous language can still be misunderstood.

AI is used at one point in the pipeline: reading the enquiry text and extracting structured signals. It does not classify. It does not learn from agency leads. It does not retain anything between enquiries. The boundary between AI and the classification engine is fixed by design.

Every decision can be traced to the signals that drove it and the rules that applied. If a classification is wrong, it can be identified, explained, and corrected. Traceability is part of the architecture.

Agency data

Your data belongs to you.

Enquiry data is processed to produce a classification and stored for the agency's own reporting. It is not used by Pulsero to train models or calibrate classifications for other agencies. Each agency's data remains isolated to that agency.

The programme behind this page

A framework, not a statement.

What is described here is the public layer of a broader internal governance programme covering classification integrity, engine validation, regression testing, and decision audit. That programme is active, versioned, and ongoing. It governs every product Pulsero builds, not just the current one.

As Pulsero expands to CRM integrations, to classification APIs, to upstream intelligence, the same standards apply. Every decision made by a Pulsero product must be traceable, explainable, and auditable.

The regulatory direction of travel

Designed to answer questions before they are asked.

The UK AI governance landscape is evolving. The EU AI Act is in force. Enterprise procurement increasingly asks how automated decisions are made, governed and challenged.

Pulsero was designed to answer those questions from the start. Not as a compliance posture. As a consequence of how the product was built.

Enquiries welcome.
