Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Pulsero collects, how it is used, who it may be shared with, how long it is kept, and how you can exercise your rights under UK data protection law.
Who we are
Pulsero is a seller enquiry intelligence platform for UK estate agencies. For the purposes of UK GDPR, Pulsero operates in two distinct capacities: as a data controller when collecting information from website visitors, pilot applicants and support contacts; and as a data processor when processing seller enquiry data on behalf of estate agency clients under a Data Processing Agreement.
Information we collect
When you contact us, apply for pilot access or submit a support request, we may collect your name, email address, company or agency name, and any information you choose to include in your message.
When an estate agency uses Pulsero to process seller enquiries, we handle personal data relating to property sellers on that agency's behalf. This may include name, email address, phone number, property address and the content of the seller's enquiry. This data is processed strictly on the instructions of the estate agency and governed by a Data Processing Agreement with that agency.
How we use information
Information submitted to Pulsero may be used to respond to enquiries, manage pilot participation, provide support and communicate important service updates. Pulsero does not sell personal information to third parties.
Seller enquiry data is processed solely to provide the classification service to the estate agency client. Pulsero does not use seller enquiry data for any purpose beyond delivering that service.
Automated processing
Pulsero uses automated systems to analyse seller enquiry content and produce classification outputs. These outputs are recommendations provided to the estate agency. The estate agency remains solely responsible for all decisions made in relation to sellers.
Legal basis for processing
Where Pulsero acts as a data controller, we process personal data on the basis of legitimate interests in operating and improving the service. Where Pulsero acts as a data processor on behalf of an estate agency, processing is carried out under the terms of a Data Processing Agreement with that agency.
Third-party services
Pulsero relies on reputable third-party providers for hosting, email delivery and operational services. These providers may process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide their services to Pulsero. Full details of sub-processors are provided to estate agency clients in the applicable Data Processing Agreement.
Data retention
Contact and website data is retained for as long as necessary to manage your enquiry or pilot participation, and deleted when no longer needed. Seller enquiry data processed on behalf of estate agency clients is retained for the duration of the client relationship and deleted upon termination or upon a valid erasure request.
Website analytics
Pulsero may use privacy-respecting analytics tools to understand how visitors use the website. Analytics data is used in aggregate and is not used to identify individual visitors.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct or request deletion of personal information held about you. You may also object to processing or lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
If you are a seller whose enquiry was processed through Pulsero, your rights as a data subject should be directed to the estate agency in the first instance, as they are the data controller responsible for your information.
